been under stress last few days extra walking and stairs, heat, bad eating habits and you got it arther bit good and hard last night was so bad was crying and it takes a lot these days to cause that
. but after some sleep able to cope and fight back ,healthy meals keep moving and meds on time, no cutting back pain meds just yet till life settles down again. val

    Hi val

    Hi Val,

Glad you got some sleep flower. Take the meds regardless of needing them is probably a good idea now. You can get away with as you need for a while but when it starts to do that to you its probably time to take them daily.

Sleep helps get it back into manageable levels eh? Leaving a ((((( ))))) and a cuppa. Cris xx

Wrong thread Mr Webmaster Sir! That is a good suggestion but I wonder if a photocopy would be accepted by a zealous traffic warden? My guess would be 'No' - look at all the hassle J and J recently had, and they had a badge.

valval, this arthritis malarkey is like a roller-coaster, we soar upwards from the depths and begin to think that, after all, things might, just might, be improving then we go swooping down again. There isn't a water-splash at the bottom tho: there are many splashes but none of them involve water. You rest up, you have had a deal on your plate lately with Dad, Auntie, work and the painting you did, now it's time for a spot of 'Val' time, yes? Take care. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben

Val, arther is mean like that, he knows when to strike. Sounds like you have a good plan though to get him back in his box. Hope you win fast.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.

Hi Val, Sorry Arther is being cruel to you. Your right about how it can come and catch you out. You think your doing well and having a good day/week and when you make plans WOLLOP! you wake up in agony. There has been many times it has done that to me. Well chin up Val I know your stronger than Arther, I've only been on here a few months and just from reading your posts I think your a strong person! Hope you feel alittle better soon.
