Hi
I suppose we all eo it differently.....I take morphine about 6.30am and sit or stay in bed for ages {about 7.30-8} to try and let them kick in....then on getting up take epilepsy tablets......with breakfast I take omneprozol, and paracetamol and iron.....that means a few hrs between the morphine and paracetamol to try and hold pain at bay. Then naproxam at about9
Nothing until lunch then paracetamol
roughtly tea time paracetamol
6.30'ish morphine again
9pm Naproxam
bed paracetamol iron and epilepsy
Sort that out LOL

I used to take things at different times, but when hospitalised I just given the whole lot, in a cup, and it was down the hatch, with the nurse looking on, one after the other. I now use the 'hospital method' and no problems so far. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I take my meds in two batches.....ones I need in the morning after breakfast and then the others I need after my tea.....so that they are taken on a full stomach. (they are all mixed, one drug doesn't get preferencial treatment )

First thing I take is the lanzoprazole then 15mins later folic acid tab, celebrex tab, Sulfasalazine tabs, trammies if I need them.
Co co's as and when, celebrex and amitriptyline in evening. Plus enbrel injection and I'm SO glad I'm injecting methotrexate now otherwise that'd be even more tablets one evening a week

Hi
My naproxam is slow release so has to be taken 12 hrs apart
Morphine is the same
as for paracetamol if i need them...try to fit them in between to stagger the pain killers if that makes sense

I take mine in as few goes as i can, asthma tabs painkillers gabpentin and ranitadine as i sit on the edge of the bed to get up, then i eat 2 digestives with my hot water bottle before i am 1/2 way human. then painkillers at 10ish gabapentin at lunch, painkillers at 4pm then plaquenil at dinner and the rest (11) of them as i go to bed.
I inject mtx and for the last 5 days 6 prednisolone in the morning. not to mention inhalers.
shake me and i rattle.
The sad thing is all that and i still only feel 1/2 human most of the time still i dread to think what i would be like without them.0 -
Hi Mig,
Just take mine morning, dinner time and night time regardless of time if that makes sense?
I sometimes forget the folic acid though.... Got to try and remember it really
I think its what ever suits really. Cris x0 -

madwestie, I am little concerned. Why are you eating hot water bottles? I can just see you, sitting there, nibbling away. Any particular colour preference? How do blue ones taste?
I know what you meant but, oh boy, did that make me laugh! I apologise. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
