ITS GONE SOAKED IN COLD WATER WITH BOG STANDERED BLEACH FOR 15 MINS HEY PRESTO WHITE AGAIN AND MARKS UNDERARMS GONE.MIG

    Reeeeeesuuuuult! Good for you, Mig, it's always pleasing when one masters a nasty stain.

    Right you wise lot: tonight's challenge is how to shift rum. Bio detergent nearly worked, Mr DD was wearing his favourite white Tshirt last Saturday, I left him comatose on the sofa, holding a glass of rum and needless to say it all went bosoms up. I think I might just go to M&S and buy him another Tshirt. He won't notice, but he will notice the slight stain on the old one. DD

    If it's a white T shirt, try soaking it in water with some bleach in it for a while. That often works well, DD, as mig discovered.

    :lol: thinking you meant athritis I was stood at the bath side with the bleach ready to jump in :lol: )

    I am pleased it worked....will keep that in mind.

    DD I have used Va**sh before and found that quite good.

    Tried Vanish and it hasn't, so yes, I think it calls for well-diluted bleach. Fingers crossed! DD
