Hi folks,

Just thought I'd sign in and give you a quick update on how things are going.
Just back from 2 weeks holiday in Germany, long drive to get there with no problems.
Lots and lots of walking over the 2 weeks and no pain, just a bit of swelling at the end of any big days.
All in all, very happy with the way thing are going. one more visit to the surgeon later this month then off to Belgium.

Take care all.

Rob

    Hi Rob
I remember your posting back on 14th feb 'under the knife tomorrow' and the apprehension you felt. It's been a long road since then but now you've reached your destination and I'm sure it's been so worthwhile.Let's hope everything continues to go well as I'm sure it will.
Thanks for your reply to my posting, hope I follow in your footsteps and also reach a painfree destination.I'm on the road!
Hope our experiences will help others who may be facing the daunting prospect of ankle surgery, whether fusion or replacement. The end result will be worth it.
    Regards
    Ron
