Good morning - it's quite pleasent down south this morning, the sun has got his hat on!

I wonder if I'll ever feel dignified again! I had my knee Xrayed last week. My trousers would not go up far enough (I went to book an Xray and they said if I waited half hour they could do it there and then) so I didn't have a skirt on! So I'm given a gown and with just a curtain betwwen the waiting room and me, (you know the type that seems to be heavyer in the middle and dosen't quite do the job down either side.) I could see other patients waiting as I sneaked out gown on with the ties at the front so they were not further traumatised by the site of my bridget jones's-I get in the Xray room and am promptly sent back to put the gown on the right way round. So in I go again, clutching the back of the gown together to protect my dignety. I'm then told to lay on the bed on my left side with my left knee bent and wedged with various bits of foam and my right knee up by my right ear! The gown of course has fallen apart and there I was with my best side fully exposed!

I don't know-I hope your appointment goes well and you don't giggle too much!

They won't gently touch your feet, mig, it will be firm and so won't tickle, leastways I hope it's like that. I used to giggle when washing my feet in the bath, then realised if I attacked them in a no-nonsense manner they wouldn't tickle. Now I can't wash them at all as my knees won't bend far enough - hopefully standing in soapy water at the bottom of the shower is enough! Good luck, let us know how you get on, please. DD
