Hi all, hope the sun is shining where you are and you're all having as good a day as is possible with this beast called arthur!!!
At the moment I'm having a lot of pain and stiffness in my ribs, usually I go to osteopath to sort this but she is on maternity leave, her replacement, although good at her job doesn't seem to have an effect on me, so I'm in a bit of a predicament at the moment, has anyone else had this and how did they deal with it (this is caused by my RA not the OA or fibro), I've tried stretching which helps a bit but not for long.

Just an update, baby still not born (4 days overdue) sister-in-laws funeral on Friday.

Sue x

Never had it, I'm afraid. Are you taking anti-inflammatories? All I can think of is keep up with the pain dullers and rest as much as you can. Life is emotionally tough at the moment by the sound of things - could that also be influencing the ribs? (That is a serious suggestion, not a throwaway remark. The mind is a powerful thing in the effects it can cause.) Take care. DD

I have just got OA but do get sore ribs from time to time.....I find anti inflams and stretching exercises {which you've done} are a help.. How long is your osteopath on holiday for?
There isnt much point going to another one if you haven't got a lot of faith in her so why pay out money for that
    Sorry I'm no help
By the way...its pouring with rain here

    Hi Sue

    Where IS that baby?

You think all the stuff has delayed Mum a bit? Is she upset and with the funeral so close?? Thinking of you.

A fair few do get thsi pain though Sue....it was one of the first l ever got and is supposed to be part of arthur for some of us. I would take my anti-inflams if you aren't already and tell the next medical person you see.

    Love
