Today I have had a very good day regarding any pain.
Ive walked just over a mile with only one rest and without my stick.
Tomorrow could be different, it could be completely the opposite
so I make the most of the "good" days.

I have also began to take garlic capsules and have
changed parts of my diet, eating more soft fruit like
cherries and plums etc, I'm not sure if these things
have any bearing but I dont seem to have taken that
many painkillers the past few days.

Or it might have been the Jack Daniels and coke......

    Yippee for the good days!

Today - I have decided to pretend theres nothing wrong with me and been out for a long ride on my horse for the first time in ages. I'm sure he knows my hands hurt and was really lovely to ride.

Hope you continue to have good days!

    Hi Daveboy
Make the most of the good days and if tomorrow is a bad or a worse day well just be kind to yourself.
Thats great that you could walk that far and without your stick as well.
We dont know if any of the changes have made any difference but just keep going with them incase they have.....If they aren't doing you any harm.....go ahead is my attitude.....even if things are {not saying yours are} a placebo.....so what ...if it helps....great.

    Love

Continue to celebrate the good days Daveboy, I know I do. It would be lovely if we could predict when they might happen and then we could plan ahead.

I have heard that cherries contain something that is good for arthritis and I am eating lots of them at the moment. I don't know if it is helping, but they certainly taste good

I am sure that your positive attitude is also helping (as well as the JD and coke)
