cysts

At a recent orthotics appointment i was told i had some cysts where the bones had been erroding is this normal with ra or is there something else going on.Mig

    Dear Mig,

    Thanks for your post to us at Helplines. Normally if erosions are mentioned then they would be something to discuss with the rheumatology team (especially if they are a new development). Generally the purpose of the disease modifying drugs is to prevent these, so you might want to find out how well controlled the arthritis is. The point about cysts would need to go those who are medically qualified.

    I hope you get some helpful answers from them.
