It's me again being nosey!!
I work part time 24 hours a week (which equates to 4 x 6 hour days). I got a part time job after I'd had a baby. Now I am glad I did because full time would be too much for me healthwise.
I work for a local authority & my job is to prevent people from becoming homeless. I run the mortgage rescue scheme amongst other initiatives such as debt advice & family mediation.
What about you?

- yes, I do work on a fire station and, yes, it's very exciting and I know how lucky I am I had about 10 years of rubbish jobs to appreciate this one even more!

PS - well done, SB, don't think we've ever had this topic before?? Interesting to read what everyone else does.0 -

I used to work in a bookshop before I had my surgery. Now can't work. I now volunteer at a wonderful place called Cherry Tree Nursery, (Sheltered Work Opportunities Project). It's run for and by people with enduring long term mental health problems. IMHO it's the absolute best place on the earth. I answer the phone and do admin work for them.Sue (Cloud9)0
