The scab from my wound fell off this morning. Underneath is beautiful healthy intact skin!! My surgeon says that after 10 long months of suffering with this wound, I can go swimming again. I used to swim 50 lengths a day before my surgery and miss it like mad. I will be going for more surgery on Sept. 27th so I have 6 whole weeks before I'm back to non weight bearing. I'm gonna make the most of it!! 8)

Well that is good news and what a long ten months this must have been for you. I also love swimming and have been told that I will be able to swim again about 18 months after I have my upcoming surgery. I am so looking forward to it as I havent been able to swim for such a long time. Enjoy every minute of the next six weeks and have great fun going swimming againBig Hugs
