I Have not disappeared lol..

Hi all..

I have not vanished off the face of the earth, nor have i been on a lavish holiday(i wish) lol..
I have just been busy trying to keep the kids entertained over the holidays as well as dealing with arthur and it's ups and downs that life throws at us..
The great news is that OA started a new full time job yesterday, we just could not live off benefits too much of a struggle..He woories how i will cope, but i have reassured him if he wasn't with me i would have to cope..The kids were great yesterday, i went to docs and when i returned they had done all the housework for me, a load of washing and various other bits and pieces..Was really touched, so i think i will be fine i have 2 great kids to look out for me lol
I haven't really been up too much, same old same old lol.. i did have friends round on friday and i was determined to let myself go and have few drinks.. i just wanted to feel normal again.. I did have great night and i think it was something i needed to do, i won't be doing it again in a hurry though lol..
My ESA appeal is still going ahead not sure how i stand now OH at work, i have rang and left a message twice with CAB and still not heard anything back(i hate it when people do not return calls grrr) will be leaving a sharp message when i ring again lol..
I also had a lovely surprise from work after cursing them for not saying thank you or anything lol..I had a visit last monday and recieved a card with £96, was so touched and restored my faith in my work buddies at the NHS ..
Anyway i have given you an update on me.. i am going to check the posts and see how you all are..

I haven't been about too much, mainly due to pc issues, so i think that I have missed a fair bit of 'the action' lol...

Not too bad today just have the pleasure of very crunchy knees, i think i may learn to walk on stilts so i do not have to bend my knees lol..

Been better, lol... Combination of enjoying myself at our friend's house on sunday and this weather change has gotten me bed-bound again..
Knees are back to hurting just like before the arthroscopies, so I don't think that they have done a great deal.. I go to see the surgeon on the 24th of this month..
I have no idea where he will want to go from there... Maybe he will try it again, I don't know..

I am currently trying to decide which window to throw this pc through :evil , the arched window, the round window... etc etc, lol.. We really need a new one but just cannot afford one....

Oh well.. Think I will log out before I get too wound up with it..

Great news all round and what lovely kids to care and do all those things for you.
Half way through the hols now and kids getting a bit edgy. Everytime they say they are bored I say not long until back at school and they soon find something to do.


Glad you had a nice night with your friends. Its very important to have me time Tracy.

Great news about OH getting a job! That is brilliant for him and for you as well.

I would ring CAB see if you can find out about your ESA....though l think you may want to carry on as they will at least pay your 'stamp' for your pension in the future.

Same here PC issues are a nightmare at the min, having to rely on my 10yr old son not wanting his laptop, even though sometimes i just want to say "look ive got something to sort out so you got 5mins left on that" when he comes back with to be honest mam im sure you bought this for me for xmas, well there isnt much i can say to that haha

Tony- Sorry to hear that your knees are still playing up.. ya never know Tony miracles do happen lol..I hope you do get some improvement soon seems so unfair..I shall be joining the queue of throwing the laptop out the window, make we can have a competition to see who throws it the furthest lol..How have the hands been lately?

Elizabeth- Been very busy with the kids.. they have been happy and haven't actually moaned about being bored yet so i must be doing something ok lol..Not long now and they will be back at school and probably moaning about that lol..They keep me sane and keep me smiling though i'd be lost without them ..Hope you are taking it easy..x

Toni-Oh is loving his job and they may even offer him a contract as they are so pleased with him.. so that great news..
Cab contacted me yesterday and i also had a pile of appeal paers to go through.. Just need to highlight all the inconsistencies (nearly every line lol) and explain why..Had a good go yesterday but it hurts my hands so had a rest , will have a go again this afternoon..

Julie- Was lovely present from work.. if i'm honest i treated the kids and brought a takeout and paid a bill off, we were all happy though.. i am getting a photo blown up though of my work friends and am going to put it in a nice frame so i can remember them..

Caterina57- Hi ya Cath.. I am throuroughly enjoying the kids being of.. i'll be sad for them to go back lol..How have you been recently.. I hope you are taking care and not doing too much..
