Sore finger

Hi,
I posted recently asking about Hebredens nodes. I had a wee lump appear on my Distal Interphalangeal Joint-basically the joint at your fingertip-on my right ring finger. It was on the right side. Then a few days later, swelling on the left side. Now, it's all swollen and painful all over the joint. It feels like I've banged it in a door. Every day it gets bigger. Does anyone else have this?

Hi Eileen,
Unfortunately mine do the swelling and redness thing as well but the pa has gone after my hands and wrists as it does so thats why mine have done this.
Its another thing to get the ortho to look at cus it could be oa or the inflammatories and the ortho might know.
In case take some pics of it if you can cus it could go down and be 'normal' before your seen.
With mine improving the circulation helps but I am so lucky I don;t have too good feeling in my hands now a days so mine does really hurt as I really have a huge loss of sensation in both hands... hey knew there was a plus side to that one
Really hope things will ease for you soon, your due some good luck flower.leaving a cuppa and a ((((( ))))) cris xx0 -
Hi Cris,
Thanks for replying.
My finger-tip was ok today, until my wee boy stood on it The left hand is now joining in-the ring finger-tip is very sore as are all my toes. I read somewhere that this is common in PA?
Hope you are well missus Thanks for my cuppa and you can have a big slice of fruit loaf and victoria sandwich-I'm baking tons just now cos my wee boy (my youngest) started school yesterday and I'm trying to keep busy-I miss my 2 kids so much when they're at school.
Take care,
Eileen XX
PS Actually all my fingerjoints are sore and feel like they're throbbing0 -

Hi Toni,
Yep, I seen that about it maybe being OA but xrays I had done on my hands in March of this year showed no signs of wear and tear. That's why I'm thinking PA. Unless this is the start of my joints wearing away? I dunno but something ain't right!
Thanks,
Eileen xx0
