Hi All

After all the help and support I get from you all I go off and desert you.
Not all intentional, my pc died and it took a while to set up my new one and then had loads of stuff to do, like remember passwords and account names for EVERYTHING :???:
It was only when Tony sent me a message to say Happy birthday I realised Id been terrible and not been chatting with you guys and yet Id not been forgotten. (not out of mind though).

Ive had a really good 6-8 weeks since my steroid injection my joints etc are only just kicking up now. Although I have a dladder infection and tonsillitis  so have been sleeping a while.
My bone scan shows that this 40 yr old has better bone density than the average 20 yr old so no more questions about my eligibility for steroids  wish I still had my 20 yr old body though

The Rheumy appointmnet with the new rheumy was great. She listened to my desire to wait a bit before more biologics and inncreased my MTX to full dose. I told her my RA would be at full swing in another 4 weeeks if it followed its usual post steroid pattern so she sid she would see me in 6 weeks.
IN the meantime \I am preparing my brain as best I can to accept this life and all it brings me and am determined not to let it take me down to the previous depths of despair. This includes finishing my degree three years later than intended!! next year is the year people!!

Apologies again for my not being around hoping all is well for you all and for those of you struggling I send hugs and positive vibes xx
Theresa xx

It's good to hear from you. There is a birthday thread for you on CC but I have to admit I didn't post on it as I thought you were off on your wanderings again. I apologise. DD

    Hi theresa4

    good to have you back

glad you now have the pc sorted and what good news about your bone scan.
It was also good news that you were pleased with your rhummy person and that they listened to you.

Good that you are feeling much better and hope that continues

Good to hear from you Theresa4 and even better that you've had a good 6-8 weeks and a good bone scan result.

Get working on that degree now! Hope it goes well.

    HI DD
u nfortunately the steroid is leaving town very soon hes already packed up in my wrist and left the building  as for the rest I think the packing is on its way.
My new laptop is lovely its much lighter than my last laptop with much more memory so should last me a while.
I have a bit of a busy weekend although I still feel really ill from tonsillitis but its my good friends wedding so I dont really want to miss it but theres a bit f travel (car) to each venue so it going to be a long one. I may be resting for a few days after that.
    Hope everyone is well
