Just had to share with people who would understand the significance .... My wedding & eternity ring have just fallen off my finger

First time in just about forever when I usually have to prise it off with moisturiser and wear them on a necklace because they no longer fit

I've started anti tnf and didn't expect miracles yet and indeed I still have pain and swelling everywhere else but surely this has to be a 1st positive step

I hope so, Chrissie. You certainly deserve it after all you've been through. I'm so pleased for you.

Oh, that is good news indeed. Is it time to 'lose' the engagement ring and ask the cardiologist for an eternity ring, perhaps? Mr DD don't hold with nonsense like that so I bought my own. Who says romance is dead. DD

Chrissie that sounds promising. Things must be calming down in your body. I really hope you start to see a difference in your pain levels too.My anti tnf worked immediately, particularly in my right shoulder and wrist because they had been so painful before and it just stopped.

Let us know how things progress Chrissie.

    UPDATE: 3 Humira injections down....
Fatigue & stiffness are definitely better
Still getting pain especially in my feet & fingers but generally feeling better and hubby says I'm def in a much better mood, I think its the lack of complete exhaustion which usually makes me want to bite peoples heads off
We did a big trip to London for the BH weekend and I don't think I would have managed it a few months ago but despite feeling knackered we did ok, and had a really nice weekend. I even vaguely managed to keep up with my 3yr old
No major obvious side effects from the Humira...the antibiotics for the latent TB are vile tho and can't want til I can wave them goodbye
So so far its a definitely a cautious positive for anti tnf
    Yay

Keeping up with a 3 yr old has to be a massive test of stamina, Chrissie. Something must be working.

Also having a husband acknowledge your mood has improved!

How much longer for the antibiotics?

    I'm very pleased for you.
