Oh dear bertyboy, that doesn't sound like you but I can understand why you are feeling so dubious. I hope it goes well and the navvies aren't there, just some lovely doctors and nurses who exude professionalism and confidence in their ability to help you. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

hi all well its been decided that i go ahead with the op its been delayed by afortnight to allow for any more work that needs doing once he can see the problems hopefully none ,there is a 50-50 chance that it will lessen the pain bit hit and miss i suppose , the op is treated as a tkr for physio and recovery , he is doing a pattella resuface and realinement plus any thing else that takes his fancy i dont have a say on the extras as once started he has to finish its been pushed and shoved abit and is now feeling very tender xI know i am a lady ,all life is a journey xx MAY xx0

Rest it now, bertyboy, as much as you can and keep up a nice, steady intake of dullers for the next day or so. It will ease and I hope all goes well with the op. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Good luck for the op, Bertyboy.
As you say, you don't have any input as regards the 'extras'. Who cares as long as they get it working right?
Hope it'll ease off by tomorrow. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I do hope all will go well for you and yes we always end up signing for tjose little suprise 'extras' don't we
Honestly - but they will only be doing what they can to help you.
Sounds as though it will be a fairly hard recovery for you too  but YOU can do it and l hope and cross fingers you will be in teh positive 50%

Hi Berty,
I am so late here and so apologize for being so.
Its 50-50 maybe but they wouldn't mean it will not go well and having missed it up once i think they are very likely to get it right the second time.
Hang in there and I promise i will be in your pocket and the shadows and will happily pigeon for you as well. love, a cuppa with side dish of so much hope my friend. Not forgetting a ((((( ))))), baas and howls of various employers, Cris xx0
