Been shopping this morning and stood behind a woman in wilko queue she looked very uneasy and was rubbing her shoulder as she turned slighty she looked near to tears me being me asked her if she was alright, she said through blood tests she had been diagnosed with ra so i asked her what meds she was on all her gp had given her was paracetomol and volterol cream,so i asked had he referred her to a clinic so they could sort her out all hed done was to referr her to physio,i advised her to ask him for a referral to a clinic as she shouldnt have to suffer like that.Did i do the right thing do you think?Mig

I think you have, I would have done the same, it sounds as though she needs to see a rheumatologist. Did you also tell her about here? I always tell people about here. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Of course you did the right thing, mig. Good that you were there. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

definitely mig,
hopefully she will do as you suggested and go back to the gp and ask to be referred to the rhummy people. I am shocked he didn't refer her when the results came back so that she can be investigated further.
Thats your good deed for the day.

HI MIG
Of course you did the right thing and l just bet she went home and bawled with releif at finding such a lovely understanding person in W*lko's of all places to take the time and help her.
I know....you can write the helpline number down and stick it in your purse (we could all do that) ready for the future
I bet you she is on the way to getting sorted.
Love and hugs and well done

poor thing, think we've all felt like this at times... i know i have, and wouldve welcomed a nice friendly face offering me some kind advice,
what i do now if i know anyone havng any kind of pain... within reason i advise them to get some aloe vera heating lotion, the smell i find so soothing as well as the lovely warmth it generates over the sore area, even good on the temples for headaches... i swear by it now got a tube by my bed and by my chair downstairs, i cant use deep heat or ralgex seem to burn but aloe vera is lovely! works everytime!!!
anyone interested pm me and will send u details xxlove and hugs0 -

I would have been touched if someone had done that for me. I think it was very good of you to not only notice she was in pain, but to take the time to ask her about it as well.
A rarity these days. Hope she gets help and finds this little haven as well._______________________
