I was reading a post earlier and Sticky mentioned The Spoon Theory. I have just read it and it is amazing, it totally sums up how I feel and is such a good way for others to understand what an ordinary day is like for someone with an illness or disability. I have printed out a few copies and will be handing them out tomorrow to my nearest and dearest. If any of you havent read it yet please do. Thanks Sticky xx

Hi Jean
I have read it and although I have not used it to explain how I feel, I have in the past mentioned it to others on the forum when they have been going through a hard time with friends and family not understanding how daily life is for them and how they have to try to cope. It is good that you found it useful and that you will be using the spoon theory to try to explain to others how it is.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.0
