Just a very quick note too wish Joan all the best today for her plaster removal from me......

Whether you like it or not Joan I will be in your pocket and hoping all goes as well as I expect it to

    Great news, Joan. You have coped so well and so uncomplainingly (Is that a word?) with all your post-op difficulties, especially with the plaster hurting under your foot. I expect being 'footloose & fancy free' will take a bit of getting used to but I'm sure you'll manage that too.

    Perhaps we should all get plastered to celebrate.
    If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    thank you for the kind words i have the plaster off and i had a nother 3 exrays and everythings well i have exersizes to do.
    i have had no pain since having the op just swelling that will go down i'm going back to hydrotherapy on monday.
    thank you everyone it was a lot easer to cope with knowing i had you.

    That is wonderful news, Joan, now just you be careful my lovely, as Toni said no Riverdancing just yet though a restorative half of Guiness might be beneficial every now and again (for your iron levels of course). DD

    Slightly off topic but what a good idea DD {guiness}
    My ferrous supphate was changed to ferrous fumarate the last prescription....there was a shortage and they said they would ring me.....today they still hadnt and I rang them and there is a marketing problem :roll:
    Another lady is waiting for some as well and they said they had rung around and managed to get a couple of packages that they could divide between us.....but guinness is a better idea LOL what do you think the GP would think :lol::lol::lol::lol:

    yes its nice to have it off my foot is a bit numb and swollen
    but it alright and thats what matters i have exersizes to do.

    I can well imagine how numb and swollen your foot will be after all that time in plaster, Joan. However, I'm sure you'll knock on with those exercises and get it working properly again. You are a real inspiration to me.

    i believe if you dont try you dont know if you can do it.
    everyone on this forum knows what pain is like and we have are own way of coping with it and finding a way to do things.
    you have a lot to cope with and you do it being cheerfull.
