Hi I'm back, after a lovely week-end staying in Hampshire with my sister and her husband for their Golden Wedding! She had a big lunch at a local hotel and then invited everyone back for the evening - 17 people came!!! I had a good weekend, only a few aches and pains nothing unusual or bad, thank goodness. I had been worrying about that.
Went to my GP's yesterday and got the results of my blood test, normal as usual! She had wondered if I was aneamic, but my blood was 12.5, which is OK. I felt down and started to wonder if its just me, but then I looked at my hands, not as bad as a lot of you but, becoming more misshapen. I am also so tired at the moment. Thats from last week, I think. I don't mind being tired and painful this week, as it was worth it! Love Sue

I'm glad you had a good weekend, Sue. You needed that, I expect, after all you've been through recently.

Iron levels of 12.5 beat mine hands down. I rarely get to 10.

I think feeling down after a fairly hectic weekend would be par for the course.

As for your hands - I hope they're OK. I know people worry about deformity. Mine look like they've been visited by a steamroller or two but they function pretty well though I don't think I'll bother taking up flute playing.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

The worst thing about my hands is that I keep droping things or open packets without getting into a mess! I'd like them to look better, but then I'd like to be 21 again, and thats not going to happen either!!! Still, at least I managed to have a great time at the weekend and so what if I'm tired now! I feel as if someone's been hammering my finger joints!Love Sue xxx
