Hi just wondering how many have AS and dont have the gene responsible. Thank you.

Hey fellow ASer!
For what it's worth I am positive for the gene. I was actually diagnosed by Xray because my sacro's were completely fused by then (some neck too).
They have recently discovered additional associated genes, but I have no idea if I am positive for those. Since I have already been diagnosed (back in 2000), it's not likely to be suggested by docs at the moment.
At the moment, I am sitting on my underbed warmer that acts a heating pad. It gives me the most coverage from head to toe.
