Evening Peeps

Just thought I would share some information which might be helpful...

Our shower is over the bath and the (enamel) bath has no "tread" and is extremely slippery. We have discovered a non-slip coating which is completely invisible and, apparently, once applied, should last for up to 5 years. OH applied it last weekend and it is absolutely brilliant! The bottle of stuff cost less than £10 too, so an absolute bargain!

I don't think it is suitable for acrylic baths but I think I read that they do a different product for that.

Don't want to get into trouble for advertising, but if anyone would like the details, please feel free to send me a PM. (I won't be around next week but will reply to any messages the week after).

Tilly

Sounds interesting, Tilly. Like, next time my bath lift goes into a sulk & won't lift me out, I might be able to get a grip when Mr SW tries to haul me out instead of skidding down to the taps. Would you please PM me? Thanks.

Try www.sylglas.com for outdoor non-slip tape, I have just put a load down on my parents garden path and front door steps to show my near blind dad where the edges are(I used a yellow one which is a good contrast colour).

Do remember to round off the ends, it stops the edges lifting.

www. addresses are allowed for reference, I thought, but not to sell on here.
