I think that what we arthritics call 'good', valval. Others might not agree but, to us, a doc who listens, looks and acts immediately almost makes up for ther original pain and sickness. I hope the injections and anti-inflamms help and quickly. I hope you sleep well tonight too.

    Hi Val,
I do hope the new anti inflamms do the trick for you and yes you must ring the rheumy secretary tomorrow.

Sorry that you are having to go to the dentist but if it stops you hurting your teeth and jaw then all you can do is try the shield.

Morning valval, I hope things are feeling a little easier this morning. There is only so much soldiering on we can do - and gawd knows girl you soldier for Engalnd! I think that one of the most difficult aspects of arthritis is learning when to accept help, learning to recognise that tipping point of 'this is now too much'. We get far too used to carrying on, and trying to carry on, and sometimes that is to our detriment rather than our benefit. Take things as easy as you can today, yes? Rest always helps (even if it doesn't appear to be doing much, it actually is). DD

one of the hardest things is admiting it to myself never mind doc or rhummy first time showed doc hands or let her know where pain is affecting me only mentioned one area at a time as you do some of heat gone out of joints had quiet afternoon so just pottered at work just what doc ordered have phoned and spoken to his secutery fingers crossed they do them on a wed am so will see how long have to wait and if he wants to see me again first val
