Hiya
People may or may not know im trying to lose weight to get a knee replacement at age of 43, having to go to wigan (ilive in kendal but surgeon there wouldnt do it cos of age/weight and offerered kneecap removal, no questions asked, i didnt know enough about it so didnt go for it)....
Started off at 110kilos, so been dieting since christmas 2010, also been going to gym twice a week, now introducing cardio in my wrokout 2 x 1.5hrs a week and 2 hydrotherapy sesssions a week also....Am now down to, well was at dieticians and on her scales im 97.8kilos....I took a food diary with me as weight had been plateauing for 4 weeks and as they want me down to 92kilos at wigan want to get to that magic figure.
Basically she said today that my food intake was fine, couldnt change it, cold only maybe do bit more cardio and as gym reports show have lost 11.5 inches off measurement too then thats good...She said had i just been there for weight loss alone id have been a top patient and I am doing really well...She said if measurements dont go down again in next 3months to go back to her...Did mention meal replacements but ive got IBS so didnt think they would work for me....
I know there is lots of tonnes but i am still chasing that evasive 92 kilos....What do you guys reckon?

Well I haven't lost any weight at all in 2 years so I reckon you are doing brilliantly. But joined Weight watchers this week so will let you know how I get on with constant checking of the calories and a regimented meal plan.
Keep on with the good work Elaine.
