There's a time to be brave, valval, and a time to call for reinforcements. You've done the bravery bit long enough. I hope the anti-inflamms help and also the visit to the rheumatologist. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

I am glad to hear that things are on the move for you valval and I hope the chance of injections comes through sooner rather than later. I take it we are talking steroid? Don't forget to rest - properly - for at least 24 hours after, though my hospital always says 48 is better. Count me in for pocket duties when the time comes. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Hi Val,
Just think a tiny injection , if it does hurt it will only be for seconds.
Better that than all the pain you are in now.

I’m hoping today’s a bit better for you, valval. That head thing sounded very scarey. Try not to worry about the jab(s). Easier said than done, I know, but the more you can relax the easier it is.If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

took co codamol and knocked my self out so slept through most of it. meds are out of system now felt like head was going to explode would rather have the flare at least can cope with that. just got out of bath done stretching exercises while in it do have to remember not to put to much water in right ankle not to good and ball of foot has lump in and feels numb (going into toes) new one for me but well what ever will be will be more meds then do some of the stuff never got around to yesterday then nap this after have great day one and all and thankyou for helping get through all this who would have thought a sore chest could be such a pain lol does not always hurt but always swollen and sore tut tut right got to go get dressed do not tell tony but sat here in my towel not a good look lol

Morning valval, you are having a tough time aren't you? Better the arthritis than the headaches methinks, a single misery is far better than a double one. Keep up with the dullers, rest as much as you can, sleep if you need to and I hope things improve for you soon. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

yey it the weekend can take pain dullers to heart content lol no worry about messing up at work and going to nap now hugs to all valval0

Hello Val
Sorry things are so rough for you at the moment but glad the headache has gone.
Thinking of you and hoping that the injections really do help - I'll be there in your pocket too when the time comes.
Love and ((()))s
