Hello everyone

Do any of you get deep aching pains in both of your buttocks? It's a real pain in the bum cheeks - literally. A real dull ache.

Do you know what it could be & how I could get relief? I have inflammatory arthritis with hands/feet being mainly affected. I have been getting a lot of deep aches in top of shoulders recently too.

Thank you.

Hi sugar I do get a deep ache in my bum but I have hip pain too so I presume it's related to that. . So I can't really say what it might be, worth mentioning to gp. . Pain in shoulder I get too, not too often though, I have just put that down as general aches and pains now but I did mention to rheumy. . Not been much help have i. . But least you know you not the only one feeling it lol. X

I have this constantly and have been told it's due to the sacro-iliac joints being arthritis-affected. Miserable, isn't it? I empathise. You can't sit, stand or lie down without discomfort. As for the shoulders that could be due to general tension caused by the pain of your other affected joints but it's worth mentioning to your GP/rheumatologist so they have up-to-date information on what is happening with you. I hope things ease soon. DD
