well to those who have seen the moans and groans will know had the odd problem with joints  .well after trying new anti inflam and it making my brain feel like it was going to explode stopped them, went back to ibuprofen which did not help. so have gone back on naproxen it was my idea to stop taking them as was getting mouth ulcers and they tasted toxic. kept some when stopped taking them in case of emergency well decided this was it was exhausted in pain not sleeping could not breath so monday started them not sure what doc will say when see her wed but could not carry on as was

You are at the sharp end of all this, valval, not the doctors. You are the one living with the discomfort, pain and side-effects, not them. Take the nap if they help, but when you see the doc ask about an alternative. There are quite a few out there and another may well suit you better. Take care. DD

    Hi Val

I guess there will be no harm done trying your old med again and I hope this time it helps.
When you visit the doc ask if there is anything else you can try.

    sorry not much help

Hope you get some comfort soon luvie from taking the tabs, as you say if you start feeling bad with them you can stop again..
When you next see Doc, as DD said there may be an alternative you can try..
Lets hope you feel better soon..xx

you have only done the best you can in the position you are in. You chose to stop taking them but they were prescribed for you.

I dont think you need to apologise at all

I'd do the same in your situation, Val. I'm trying to think if there's anything you could take or do to try to prevent the mouth ulcers. I suspect there might be (some vitamin?) but don't know what.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

    Hi Val
Glad the doctor appointment went well and lets hope that the mouth ulcers stay away. I am pleased that the naproxen is helping with the stiffnesss etc. Looks like you may have just over done it a bit today so sit down and put your feet up. Sleep well too
