Hoops - don't ya just love jumping through 'em?!

Got enough stupid PC cr@p in my job so am pretty ambivalent to it all now to be honest. We sometimes have guys working on roof-tops, all with full leading edge protection and fall-restraint equipment in case what, they jump the barriers designed to stop 'em falling off? And bash hats - why? Only seagulls for company!

'elf 'n safety, is all. Those people responsible for it will not be happy until we can do nothing at all, as GBS might have phrased it 'He who dares does, he who doesn't goes into H&S.' As for the flash photography there is a chorus from our sofa of 'Stop showing off!' DD

Sorry Del, but it does help me being an eppy and all. I can watch the news and then as the flash photgraphy can start very soon after, it does give me chance to look away when they say the speel.

All it takes is one time and thats me driving licence gone!

But the other bit did make me chuckle! Bet ya want to dress up and be a news reporter for the day, you have a choice of north face jackets as well and you never know, you may get to keep them at the end of the day!

My youngest has issues with strobe lights, having epilepsy, so agree with Janie on this one too.

but not the rest of it. they are adults and can make their own decisions what they wear.

    Love

the numpties are the pc brigade, not the sufferers.. Lol
I'm certainly not having a go at folks who suffer seizures BUT it should still be a given that there is a chance of flashes going off during press reports :grin:

    You knows it!

Actually, in the cinema, gotta be a HUGE bucket of the sweet one, but for home consumption, always the toffee. Even though I broke a tooth and a crown on the stuff in the past. :???:

I did myself a proper injury on a Toblerone - the bigun, tried to bite between two 'alps' and had my gums mugged. Bapstard things

Gotta love 'em... oh, and to remain on topic :???: do they still make them? Topics, that is!
