Hello,

I have heard hyaluronic acid is a brilliant supplement for joints, and can help with arthritis. just wondering if anyone has heard of this, or has taken it, or is currently taking it and what they think?

thanks

suzanne

Like all these 'brilliant' supplements I think it all depends on what arthritis you have and to what degree you are affected by it. There is little evidence that glucosamine, chondroitin, cod liver, etc etc actually do anything to help those with OA, for RA etc they are pointless. Those who swear by their daily dose of whatever I think are usually confusing the general aches and pains of aging with OA. You won't know until you try, however, and if it helps then that is a good thing. I wish you well. DD

thanks for your responses. just thought i would ask- pretty new to all of this, so trying to see if there are herbal/ complementary therapies which help, because i dont really like taking the NSAIDS etc unless i am having a really bad day.
