I've just had my first dose of Anti TNF less than a week ago... Well friday morning to be exact... Now i'm planning on going out on my bike tommorrow for a 30 miler! The inflamation that has been plaugeing my knee has all disapeared over night!!!...............I chose Golimumab... being delivered/managed by medco.. Top marks

Phil that is brilliant news, long may you get the benefit and enjoy your 30 miler

    Hi Linda,
I was wondering how you were getting on with the mtx as you were thinking about increasing it before the op.
Sorry the headaches where caused by it. ..........Gentle hugs,

    Hi 'I'

My Rheumy was also considering putting me on Hydroxy because my CRP was raised and that was in March  I know they are higher now and I do hurt. I need something to help me out.

I shall gather up your positive vibes and use them wisely.

    Thanks

Good evening Linda. I have to say I have been getting headaches with Methotrexate, although this weeks dose behaved itself.......are in your area and if you do forget and go out they won't leave it on your doorstep in the midday sun!

Thanks E, missed seeing you around and was wondering how you were so I'm glad I've bumped into you again

I've had the waking headaches for 3 years, 4 mornings out of 7. I could manage them and with paracetamol they would go within an hour of getting out of bed. The pain wasn't always bad just enough to stop me sleeping so more of a nuisance. If they were bad I would start being sick too which generally meant a day in bed

I still think Mtx is a good drug and it certainly turned my life around.

I'm hoping I can benefit from using Enbrel and I'm glad the biologics got your RA under control.

    Take care.

I started on Humira a few months ago - so far (touch wood) its really helping everywhere except my feet
My rings come off my fingers, i'm no longer totally knackered (except when my 3yo is really pushing the boundaries  ) and my stiffness is so much better
The only problem is that I feel so fab that this weekend I pushed myself too far without realising it and caused myself a bit of pain & stiffness but it was completely my fault and at least I did it having fun
Healthcare @ home are fab and deliver my injections to my work ...as long as you can put it in a fridge, they can deliver it there and I or my receptionist can sign for it.
Good luck - hope it helps you

Thanks Chrissie, and everything people on here tell me of their experiences helps.

I'm so glad Humira is working for you and especially that you felt well enough to overdo things
