hi everyone
i am on enbral and should be taking it 2day but see the doctor this afternoon and he thinks my rib pain is due to having a chest infection? he has given me antibiotics and told me to come back friday to check my chest again to make sure it don't develop into something else.
is it right i can't have my injection?
also the doctor has given me a morphine based pain killer so hopefully that will help with my pains and arm which the doctor thinks is a trapped nerve or tendon. i just want the pins and neddles to stop and the shooting pains to go.

Hi Davina,
I am sorry you have the infection and hope the tablets will knock it and the painkillers will help as well.
I think it is right not to have the jab but I would check that out with your rumo nurse cus they do seem to all have their own ideas on what to take not to take.
Hope you soon feel a lot better. Cris x0 -
Hi,
If you are on antibiotics you cannot take your injection leave it till you have finished them. Hope it clears soon, get plenty of rest. XxAS Sufferer

As the enbrel is an immuno-supressant the general rule of thumb is not to take it whilst on anti-bios, or if there is any other sign of infection. I am on my thrid week week of no meth (missed two humira jabs too) as I am still on penicillin and as a result I am feeling much better. I hope things improve for you soon, but if you have any doubts then contact your rheumatology unit. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Do let your hospital know you have missed the injection and why, it's fair that they should be kept up-to-date. I wish you well and I hope you start feeling better soon. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0
