Had the doc phone me today to say that they discovered I am anaemic during surgery last week. They're worried that this will inhibit the healing process. Am on Ferrous something or another, (not sulphate) now.

    Hi sue

hope the Ferrous xxxx works quickly for you. I have had anaemia and it does funny things to you (breathless, dizziness, as well as extreme tiredness).

Don't worry you'll be fine. I'va always been prone to anaemia even before RA so I'm on them permanently, only one per day unless it gets too bad. Hope you get it sorted soon,

Oh dear, poor you. Many of us on here have had this in the past, have it in the present and may well have it again in the future. It is a nuisance but, unlike the arthritis, it CAN be fixed - hurrah! I hope the tablets help and try to boost your iron intake food-wise too. A week on nothing but watercress soup should help! Take care. DD
Have you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben
