Well, so much for an early peaceful night.

Just tottered off to me pit, feeling a bit sore, uncomfortable and tired and guess what? A HUGE spider, size of a saucer squatting on my bed .... yes ON MY BED ............... uuuugggghhhh aaaawwww

I walloped it with a library book, but as it was on the bed, soft duvet etc. the ruddy thing just jumped off and shot off under the bed.

Goodbye early peaceful night, will be sitting up with loaded spray can at the ready, shaking with terror and waiting for the evil beastie to appear.

Don't you just hate this aspect of autumn?

    Hi Fayrose

I seem to be being invaded by moths tonight and last week the warm weather brought all the damn ants out into the kitchen again. ThinkIll just tread on them with my plaster cast ... that'll teach them!

Just be careful you dont roll off the bed checking underneath ....

    Hi Fayrose

Have you seen my thread, I'm Traumatised :?: You've got a spider under your bed, and I've got one under my settee so I daren't sit down  They're totally harmless, but it's just the thought of them running around, especially as one ran right across my chest last night. Ugh :!: I'm still shuddering at the thought

I am running on full spider alert at the moment. I hate them. The dyson comes in handy.

I haven't seen any for a few weeks so they must all be out in the garden waiting for the command to invade. My son finds them interesting so maybe I could encourage him to pick them up but am scared he may lob them at me. I have heard him say spider and the found a few squashed ones in the en-suite.

I tried to buy the spider scare thing that vibrates  but OH only got the mouse one and don't think that will work.
