    Hi Soraya

Although you have got your diagnosis it does take time to sink in. You pamper yourself today and you know where we are, waiting on the sidelines to help and support you in whatever way we can. It must be of help knowing that you have a good back team here who do understand.

    Hugs
    Elna x
The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

Oh lordy lordy lordy. I am so sorry, soraya, this must be a blow for you. What a wise girl you are to take time to absorb matters and don't fret about getting back to us. We will be here whenever you are ready, ask us anything you like and we will do our best to help. At least you now know what it is - cold comfort indeed. DD

Hi all i know its only been two days just since diagnosis but cant stay away my brain is working overtime with questions constantly, and about the fact of having to endure this pain time and time again, sorry, firstly thankyou for all your kind words and pocket duties, im just feeling a little low today as arthur has come to visit, on top of a chest infection which i suppose is to be expected, i feel alone as people i know dont understand what im feeling because i look ok on the outside, its so frustating, even typing on here is a task, realising things arent going to get any easier, yep im having a long rant full of selfishness sorry its just how im feeling, think im going to log out and have a cuppa that should help lift the mood if i dont drop the kettle and get third degree burns lol

This is still very early days for you soraya, it is still a shock and of course the thoughts are reverberating. This unwanted guest is now a permanent resident but that doesn't mean it rules the roost - you will find that out in time, I am sure. DD

    Soraya...

Selfish??? you are not...This is why the forum is here for you to be able to off load/let off steam/cry/laugh...Don't ever feel guilty for feeling down or sharing it with us..You have alot to take in and it may take a while for things to sink in...The best advice i can give is to take each day as it comes, everyday is different, some good some bad..you will need to pace yourself and listen to your body, if you are feeling tired then rest, you will probably notice you will feel tired quite easily so being superwoman is not a good idea lol  I know that doesn't sound like the most extravagant life, but you can feel better than what you are now with right meds and right support and there will be days ahead where you will be smiling, come and have a look on chit chat on here, there will be a few giggles there for you...:lol:
For people that don't understand how you are feeling then email or print them off a copy of the spoon theory..http://www.arthritisfriend.com/tag/spoon-theory/ it is a great way of explaining things..
We are here in the meantime to offer you help and support..There is also a helpline number at top of page you can ring too and leaflets to download with loads of information..
