On the way home from shopping this morning spoke to an old lady on the bus(see her from time to time)asked if she was ok (as you do) not really she said turn out one of her cats had been killed by some sort of hawk that a neighbour has, police were called they didnt seem too interested, what would they have done if a child had been attacked, why are people allowed to keep such birds, i suppose its just nature to them, she has another cat which has been roaming round the house looking for his friend.Im not a great fan of cats but i wouldnt like to them suffer. :evil Mig

It belongs to next door but one, such a shame when she only has cats for company, she got both cats from rescue centre a couple of years ago, maybe she might get anotherone the one she has left is still eating so hopefully it will be ok.Mig0

I Hope so Mig
But l do really feel for both of them. l know that to some it's trivial, but to her she will go to bed upset and wake up upset  .
If a hawk harmed my Daisycat l would be devastated.
In fact l shall go and give her a cuddle
