First of all THANKS FOR ALL THE SUPPORT.It really does help to know that there are folks rooting for you. The 1st meeting with my new rheumy was okay-he listened carefully and wants to work out exactly what's happening with my immune system before changing meds or going for more aggressive treatment. Unfortunately he thinks it may be affecting my lungs so I'm awaiting a CT scan-bit scary really since I have asthma anyway, and 8 chest infections in the last year. Did xrays and lots of blood tests so now I'm waiting for the outcome but feeling relieved that he didn't suggest it was all in my mind! Felt a total wreck when I got home but at least I know now that it will be looked into and appropriate treatment suggested.
I wonder if anyone out there is having lung trouble with their RA-would appreciater an insight into what it might entail.

Blessings to all.
Deb x

    Hi Deb,
Glad the appointment went wellish for you. I know it is like starting all over again but he will want to re-do all the tests himself and so it does take time.

I hope you get the results soon. It is difficult not to worry but he has listened and hopefully a change of meds might be the answer.

Hope you manage to sleep tonight and recover from your long day.
