If our boys had bothered to turn up we could have had a decent crack at them but no, they did a wonderful impersonation of the flakey French. They have proved they are an indifferent team and MJ ain't much of a manager.

So, who is going to win? My 'money' is now on Les Bleus, this victory will have given them great heart. DD

I read with interest...I'm a Rugby League fan, I'm slowly getting into this Union business. I don't understand the rules properly, but, it seems all kicking, scrummaging, diving in/out/over people, looks good when there a break on, and, someone scores, or, there's a scrum near within the scorelines area, and, it is then an almighty definite scrum. I've been watching Rugby League since I was 8 years old, don't go as often as I would like to these days for reasons arthritic joints/comfort.Good to see the banter on this RU though, I've been following the matches on TV all through the comp...I think we are in with a slight chance, but, need to improve. I haven't got a clue about the rules of Union, I find League to fragmented with all that stopping and starting but I am learning to like it better as I now have some very good friends oop north! DD

    D.D.
Watched it for half an hour and couldn't believe how bad we were. No team spirit, no leadership, nothing. However, this side, or any other side down there were never gonna beat the All Blacks, in fact their reserves would beat most teams in this competition. Alanthemanc

One of the greatest problems the ABs face is playing at home. They are not the force they used to be in world rugby and now they have lost their talismanic player I reckon they won't get much further. My money is still on the mercurial French. DD
