    Dear May

That is a good step forward. I am sure the scar will fade given time. They always look worse at the beginning. Yes, you will need that dressing on for a few days, as you say, you don't want to nip that area, do you?

Having the staples removed always felt like progress to me, even though I hated the process it was a positive thing. I hope it all feels a little easier now, bertyboy, and more comfortable. DD

Well done Berty, I was thinking of Monday. Sorry it has taken this long to reply, it has been one of those weeks has where every little thing has left me exhausted. I'm glad it wasn't as bad as you you thought. I hope when you take the dressing of it is still comfortable and continues to go from strength to strength. Well done from being brave.

How are things now, berty? I hope things are still feeling better, have you started applying any oil to the scar yet? DD

    Hi Berty,

Is it today you have the dressings removed? If so I hope it went well and the knee has settled down a bit more.

Hi all , yes I the dressing came of today its nice and clean so will start to moisterise now , still getting slapped about with a wet flannel as the brace is on for another 4 weeks all day all night  , sleep is a bit hit and miss still a fair bit of swelling and my walking pace is snail slow , and more of a shuffle , but hopefully its a case of slow and steady , got physio on the 19th and hope fully the brace will be set at 90% , and pole dancing by xmas

    Hi Berty,

glad they are out and the brace... it will make Ned so much better than he was so much needed. i know its snail pace and things get frustrating but a few more weeks and well.....

i got this wonderful [well if your a bit weird its wonderful] of the staple gun  i could use one of those you know..... i would staple him to a broad so he can;t chase the baby chicks any more  or make the trench he has made eh?

leaving tea, a [[[]]] and a hope with a side dish of assurance this time it will work. love Cris xxx
