A day to myself

I've got a whole day to myself today, with nothing planned and no visitors expected. This is quite unusual for me, and something of a luxury. I'm having a lovely day, just doing whatever I want without any interruptions. So far, I've had a long soak in the bath, a leisurely breakfast, read the paper, posted on here, and now I'm going to spend some time painting my latest picture ( two cats surrounded by flowers ) Later on, I will go to have a chat and a laugh with my best friend who lives across the road. I love days like this.
What would you choose to do if you had a day all to yourself :?:

Whole day alone never happens for me ; hubby is my full time carer and if he has to be elsewhere ( usually to watch footie or play golf ) , then either my daughter or daughter in law come to biddysit with me ! Not complaining though as I love the girlie days together . Jillyb0

Biddysit? You daft 'aaporth, but what a lovely phrase!
I love being on my own, it is nice to see people and have them round or whatever, but I like the selfishness of pleasing myself about what I do and when! DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0 -
Well, for me it is very very rare these days. And if hubby has taken the girls out for a couple of hours, I'll be honest I'm lost, don't know what to do with myself, then when I do start enjoying it their back. I am seriously doing something wrong.
But if I did finally get it right, well, I would just completely relax, watch what I want on telly, play on lap top, and yes a leisurely bath and nothing else.

I've had a great day just doing whatever I wanted, and now I've only got myself to worry about when it comes to cooking an evening meal. I think I'm going to be really decadent and have egg and chips0

hope you are having bread and butter with it.val0 -
A day to myself always involves music and T.V because my Son freaks if the T.V is on or music is played. So these are things I can't often do.
