By heck what a night/day, it all started when I woke up in the middle of the night with a throbbing right knee a bad tum I was also full of gas and wind gas and had acid up me throat, and to finish it all off the dog sleeping on me legs, I was deep in a dream where I'd been in a U boat and me legs were pinned by a dislodged torpedo and the I was drowing in a the contents of the on board chemical loo while we went to meet old Davy Jones's in his flippin locker, only to violently snap awake with the realisation that reality was much worse than the dream I had just been in!.
So here I sit all drained and with me right knee a throbbing and a seriuosly sore throat wondering what in hell kind of bug makes you burp a smell of rotten eggs apart from rotten eggs that is!??.
Oh and seeming some of the poster put daft stuff at the end of each post I'm going one step further with dear old Donalds baffling quotation, so there two can play that old game!

there are known knowns; there are things we know we know. We also know there are known unknowns; that is to say we know there are some things we do not know. But there are also unknown unknowns—the ones we don’t know we don’t know.

Oh Mell..you are in a state..some stomach protectors can bloat your tummy..if it not that.. it could be gastric flu..especially if you have a sore throat on top of everything..and that may explain why your joints are worse than normal...hope you feel better soon..you take care..

Sorry to hear that you are ill, Mel  it sounds like a nasty bug has got you, so I hope you will feel better soon.

Which kind of bug I know not. It could be one of the known unknowns, but there again, it might be an unknown unknown- one that I don't know I don't know

    Whatever sort it is,

Crikey, that was the fastest recovery ever :!:  17.27 till 17.53, according to the clock on here- 26 minutes, if I'm correct

Anyway, I'm glad you are OK  I think you're a bit of a known unknown too, Mel

Mell is definitely an unknown unknown.. He's an absolute unknown quantity. Arthur C.Clark was once quoted as saying
    WHAT THE HELL IS THAT
After glancing upon Mell for the very first time
