Oh my days
My hipe pain is normally very heavy and achy and can click and cause pain when walk..
This pain that started yesterday is reaaly driving me mad now, kind of the at the top of my hip on the right hand side..The pain shoots in short blasts every few minutes, it's taking my breathe away..If it wasn't forf me knowing i got arthritis i would be at docs or a/e lol.. it bloody hurts..
Just took my norning dose of tablets.. hoping for them to kick in very soon. the pain is worse than yesterday..Our bodies are weird eh?
My friend wants to take me out to lunch today, at the moment i am very reluctant, but i had bad day yesterday with family stuff and feel crap with this painb, lunch may take my mind off things and i am sure if i get bad she got drop me of at the local a/e or nuthouse..
I am trying to remain upbeat, but boy does it hurt...

Load up with the dullers and get thee to lunch, young lady. I am thankful that my hips are so far un-affected, I cannot comprehend the misery that hurty hips must bring. I hope that the diversion of your friend's company will help to ease matters. DD

Thats what i am thinking DD..
Sitting at home is just going to make me think about it every time it shoots through me, but being with my friend will keep me occupied..I have not been out the house since rheumy appointment last week so some wind in my hair will do me good, maybe blow away some cobwebs..

Even with mild hip problems such as MR SW has (Two rounds of golf per week), let alone - dare I say it - real ones such as yours, Traluvie, it can be triggered by how you sit/lie. Mr SW's always kicks in on long car journeys though it's better with our current car than the last one. Before my last THR I used to find this too adn, unfortunately, tended not to realise it until it had happened. Try to note which chairs/positions make it worse & avoid them.

    And have a good lunch!

At least you got out and saw some of the world, traluvie, that is the main thing. I managed to get out too, a change of scene does help matters, yes? Our boiler went wrong yesterday, lovely Syd came and mended it and we have hot water again! DD

All in all a bit of a damp squib then, Traluvie. I hope, after that, your boilerman was as fit as the lovely young fellow who came out to us last Friday.

DD it was good to get out.. kept my mind occupied and fresh air was lovely..

Sticky.. I wish he was a nice fit boiler man, but afraid he wasn't and to top it all my boiler is faulty and i need a new one but might not get delivered till next week, that long without heating??? not something i look forward too..He did say he will stress the urgency because of the children and my disability..Disability i said what disability??? Oh yeah my arthritis..hadn't even clicked, then he started asking me about it and said your only young, about 26..:lol::grin: 26, i'm 32  that put a smile on my face..So i wait for a phonecall tomorrow, i have said if i do not get a phonecall by 12, i shall be phoning them..

Looks like i am set for another day of this horrid hip pain...
    Didn't sleep to great either...
I look so attractive with me black bags under me eyes..
What to do today?? watch some programmes i have recorded, ring the boiler people and try and hobble round to do the housework.. oh the joys?? might even spoil myself  and have a few games of scrabble..
Was debating wether to ring the doctors but all i expect she will say is that there is nothing they can do, at the moment i am taking my tramadol 4 times a day along with diclofenac and paracetamol..Once the tablets do kick in it does take the edge of but it still bloody hurts ..

Day 3 of this horrible hip pain..
It has eased but doesn't seem like it is easing off completely..
Pain meds are keeping it under control.. seems like i may be in it for a long haul..
My hands are getting sore from using the crutches..
To top it all i am having my central heating done from top to bottom for the next 2 days..So i am sat in dining room with me hot water bottle staring into the garden watching the birds..I have nowhere to escape too lol..

Sorry it's still so bad, Traluvie. All I can suggest is that you have a good reason for doing no housework at all. Find a good book and enjoy it.
