Title says it all. Saw rheumy nurse today and they all agree I've had too many infections on Cimzia. (Currently got a nasty throat and chest one.) So am being moved over to Enbrel. I would be interested in your experiences of it. thanks.

Hi Salamander,
No problems at all for me with Enbrel, ive been on it since July and had a slight improvement in that I have 55 joints affected now rather than the 60 I started with. No infections so far, and had the flu and pneumonia jabs last week with again no problems. I reacted badly to Humira, but other than a slight red reaction site redness, all is fine.
I really hope it works well for you Xxx'grá agus solas'

I hope it works for you, salamander, it seems to be helpful to a fair few on here so I hope you swell the ranks! Let us know how things pan out. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

I just posted a reply and it disappeared  Not the first time that's happened to me.
Thanks for your comments everyone and hello! Colin, enbrel is supposed to be the drug that is least prone to chest infections! That is why they are putting me on it. Rituximab isn't suitable for me as I am sero -ve.0 -
Hi,
Been on it for a nealry a year and no problems, had one chest infection and brill on my back and hips. Use ice on area before and after the injection to stop reaction. xxxAS Sufferer
