    hi Chris

    I don't know what is going on but I hope you don't leave.You were very supportive to me when I was going through hard times.

    I find there are a few very unpleasant people on this forum (like many other forums I gather.) I try to avoid them but, ultimately, it's why I didn't post for such a long time. It made me too angry to see objectionable, thinly veiled racist, openly sexist, personal and political provocative views being posted on here and I felt bullied off certain threads. I don't read or post on the Chit Chat forum for this reason. However, there are some truly wonderful people on here and you are one of them.

    Hello Chris,

    I genuinely have no idea of what's been going on around these parts but wanted to add my thoughts. I'm very sad and sorry to here people are leaving. I'm especially sorry that you will be leaving because you've been such a wonderful contributor to this forum and will be very much missed.

    Whatever you decide to do, (and only you can decide) know you will be missed here and are appreciated.

Perhaps the purpose and mission of AC needs explaining to those who post on a sticky for future reference so no one else unwittingly falls fowl of this rather ambiguous sentence?

    It is as you say appropriate to and easy to avoid those few people who don't like you but if they should stalk you and your friends anonymously merely to cause trouble I think they and their allies must surely expect to find it. I have said my piece.

    thanks again to all those who have given me the much needed support and friendship I have found here. I will wait to hear from the Director before deciding what to do in regard to my continued membership
