I find my grabby stick invaluable. Also steps up to my shower as I could hardly get in before and a jar opener with a rubber band you attach to the outside of the lid to get a firm grip.

HI, mine is an electric jar opener, its majic and would help anyone with those horrible jars that won't open. Wish I'd had it years ago! Love Suexxxx

There are so many great products out there.

You never mentioned what type of arthur you have, what joints are affected etc..?

I guess it depends entirely on where one’s problems lie. A grab stick is not much use to someone struggling to walk; nor is a walking stick or crutches much use for opening jars. What are your problems. AHolmes777? Have you looked on the Simple Ideas thread (top of page)?

All my aids at home are a godsend..

    *Bedrail
    *Bath Board
*grab rails for getting on the stairs
    *Kettle tilter
*Toilet frame(helps me sit down and get up from toilet)
*Bathroom stool that enables me to sit at sink and have wash etc
*My crutches/walking sticks, be lost without them..
    *My lovely partner

It all depends what your needs are as to what may be beneficial for you,Occupational therapy can help with aids, i believe you can do a self referral or ask your GP..

    Hi
What type of arthritis do you have, what sort of problems do you have...mobility? or problems with hands? We really need to know that to be able to help.
My scooter is a godsend but it is my mobility thats a probem.
My grabber as well because i have back problems.
    Dont forget the Blue Badge.
The other thing is dont forget your occupational therapist {OT} she can supply a lot of things that are expensive to buy.
I also have a large cushion i use in the car {from the OT} it eases the pain in my hips when driving.
    Love
