Hi, Spoke to my GP today. She has had the letter back from the ortho at the hospital. She said it tells her nothing, she seemed a bit annoyed. She's written a really good letter supporting me and saying that I've tried going back to work, but it only made me worse. Don't suppose I'll get through and if I do the way things are look, I'll be lucky to get anything. Makes me feel a bit depressed to be honest.
Anyway, I know people here will support me on Wednesday at 10am, thats unless they cancel it again, like they did before.
My doctor is now saying she feels pretty sure I've got fibromylegia and OA. I've got to go and see her the week after next to discuss the next step. To be honest, after all this time, I'll be happier with that, as it could be a lot worse. Love Suexxx

the very best of luck, both myself and Ra will be tagging along for support..
All this trying to make us jump through hoops is awful. I know they have to cut the real scummy leeches that are playing the system so something had to be done just wish they'd consider the fact that us genuine cases are really struggling with this crap.. Just get the junkies and alkies back to work first. That'd be a start.
    I'm sorry, I'm ranting...

    Good luck hun

My Husband is comming with me, he has to do the driving as I can't manage the distance or walk from the car park without ending up with a sore everything and tired out, which makes me really cross and snap at everyone... mind you maybe thats not such a bad thing! Love Sue xxxx

Hi, good luck on your medical..

I had an esa medical back in April and scored 0 points even tho they had letters from my gp and a letter from the physo.. I appealed this contacted my MP (totally useless) I wrote a long letter detailing everything the doctor leftout or the he tried to miss lead and I had my hearing on the 5th of October. I should have been a 45 minute session but I was in 5 minutes told to wait in the waiting area while they discussed my case, I did not even make to the waiting area when I was called back and I had my appeal allowed ( which means I won) went from 0 to 15 points.he commented on the lack of quality on the medical and that was that.

they do twist everything you say, so think about your answers to there questions..as they all are loaded..they ask about shopping so they assume you can walk around the supermaket thats more than 200 meters..if you watch telly you can sit more than 30 minutes...they make why to many assumtions without asking to clarify..

    hope this helps

Yes, I had a medical in Jan and went to tribunal. Atos had given me 8pts but then scored the medical wrongly, the tribunal said and gave me over 15 pts. They also gave me back pay!

Will be with you Sue, biting at their ankles. I truly wish they would not put us all through the mill, when we have enough to contend with on a daily basis. XX Bubbles

    Hi Sue,

will be in your pocket too flower an don;t forget they assess you from the min you get there. if you are uncomfortable sitting in the waiting area get up and move about. don;t lat them trick you and its wrong your having to jump through hops.

you gp might well be right with the fibro thing and oa.... i hope you can get a firm diagnosis soon cus its not fair after this length of time. hang in there Cris xx

Re the fibro and OA well at least if you know wqhat youve got, its a name to it rather than the unknown if you get what I mean? Your GP sounds really good...
The medical on wednesday, just go through the motions, its all anyone can do and hope for the best with these badly organised medicals....

    Good Luck for Wed...

    Hi Sue,

Good luck for tomorrow. I hope things start going your way for a change, no one deserves all this hassle and worry that the system has brought.

Hi, Oh, thank you all so much for all the support, I'll just be glad to get it over and done with now. I wish they could make the system simpler. I do know that people abuse things, but not to the extent that all this fuss is causing. Oh well, I'll get through!
    Love and thanks Suexxxx
