HI, Well, I'm back from the ESA medical and still in one piece. I had to wait for about 3/4 of an hour, but got in to see the doctor, who was a different one this time and much nicer, if that means anything.
He asked all the questions and made read the answers I gave him back so that I had a chance to correct him. He examined me, but very gently and told me to say if anything started to hurt and stop immeadially. The examination was much more gentle than the last one. Even so, I'm a bit stiff! Asked about all the things I'd written and kept a copy of the doctors letter and the prescriptions. He also wrote about my CBT workshops and the choice of couse that follows. He said that he would draw attention to the GPs opinion that jobs at home needed careful pacing and took most of my time. Seemed to go well, much better than before, but I'll have wait and see. The whole place seemed to have had a facelift and the reception staff were much more pleasent. Maybe ATOS are learning...but I'm not too sure.
Now the waiting game and I hate that. I don't expect to get anything, as they are supposed to be cutting back on benefits. Anyway, not a lot to say, just got to wait now. Thank you for all the support. Love Suexxxx

You seem to have got a reasonable doc, woodbon. Fingers crossed that he comes to the right conclusion. If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

Fingers crossed for you, the waiting can be quite stressful. Going through an appeal process myself and after many letters of complaint, I've finally got ATOS to admit there are some faults with my report. Good Luck SS0

Glad things went ok Sue, it is such a trial, so stressful and I am sure you are wiped out.
I truly hope they award in your favour.
All these ESA DLA and DWP posts are very concerning, a lot of us are going through the mill at the moment, which is wrong, on so many levels.
You take care and keep us posted. XX bubblesXX Aidan (still known as Bubbles).0 -
hi Sue,
I hope his report doesn't change from the facts and you get the right outcome. fingers crossed for that and also that you don't get a load of payback. Cris xx0 -
