Hi I am feeling loads better. Arther has calmed down for a bit. I really enjoyed my night out watching The importance of being earnest AT Birmingham old rep theatre. I had a lift back my friend had two places in car and she let me have a place as i was unwell. I am so glad i went. Thanks for the support and advice you have sent me.
I have decided to start writing my experiences of ra with the help of my creative writing teacher. My memory is bad sometimes and i am worried i might forget things and wish to create something i can look back on and have to keep for family who wish to see it. I have never shared my poems on the disease with anyone who does not suffer with it. My teacher has never seen them. My friends in the creative writing class are in the process of writing their own biographical pros. They have inspired and encouraged me to do the same. Their experiences have touched me and they have had more to deal with. I have told her i will share my poems so she can help me. I hope to ad other poetry related to me and write, why i wrote them. I don't know where to begin. I feel it will be a good start. Any advice would be appreciated. THNAKYOU FROM JOANNE
Joanne

I'm very pleased you had a good night out and that the arthritis has calmed down a bit.

As for the creative writing - good for you. Start wherever you wish with whatever is uppermost in your mind. You can always edit it later, add bits before and after (Thank God for computers!) or even change the whole format without losing anything. The main thing is to start and keep writing. Good luck! Let's know how you get on with it.

    Hi Joanne

I remember that you were going to the theatre, so pleased it was a lovely evening out for you.

I think that is an excellent idea to write about your journey through life with "arthur", both for yourself, your family and perhaps others too. You have shared some of your poems with us and others would benefit from reading them as well. Once you get started you will find it easier and you will of course have the help of the teacher too.

This project will keep you busy and out of mischief.

    Love
