How old are you if you don't mind my asking? From everything I've read many arthritc conditions can start when people are very young so saying "you're too young" is ridiculous surely?! Sorry I'm just in exasperated mode tonight  Sleep well and don't forget to take good sharp photos with you next time. Thanks so much for encouraging me to do so. When i told a district nurse friend that i probably had RA she said "don't be daft you're too young for that?!" - health profesdionals eh?!
I do the same re photos evety ten mins but to make you smile I'll tell you that I was quite chuffed that GP found yesterday's snaps the best in terms of clarity. I took them with the camera on my brand new Smart phone as opposed to old phone which are all a bit blurry.
I'm an artist but really struggle with photographing both artwork and joints so GP's approval felt like a double bonus! Am resolved to only take them in good enough light now. Problem is that most of my swelling has been at nighttime when im tired and in pain and that doesn't make for the best shots - i'll maybe have to use special lighting I use for recording art and get OH to do the snapping. I have even thought of painting or embroidering the swollen joints like a self portrait for rheumy - and of course that would bring on the flare that he's looking for perhaps!

Hi Mat,
You're an artist then? I was reasonable at school but never went on to 'o' level. I'm thinking about starting it up again-pencil drawing. I want something to do for me but I don't think my hands are up for it.
I'm going to bed now, hope you're doing ok?

Can't complain today Magenta. Flu like aches only and I've had a big dram with my amitriptyline and ibuprofen tonight so hopefully another day off the pain fest tomorrow! Hope same goes for you goodnight. Mat xxIf you get lemons, make lemonade0
