Maybe it's that time of year, or you are going into a flare.

I know I have days where it can be my knee that's being loudest or my neck, but then I have days where my whole body just seems to be having a moan, like a creaky old cupboard expanding in the heat.

I hope all your aching bits quieten down for you soon. Nothing worse when they are all starting up together.

Well, my best guess would be its the aftermath of surgery (that always takes its toll) combined with regular physio at the moment, which can exert other areas that the physio does not necessarily target. Rest up, take the dullers at regular intervals, and be kind to yourself and I hope things settle soon. Take care. DD

I had this after my last surgery. My rheumatologist gave me a steroid jab and when, two/three months later, I was still going that way again as it wore off, she gave me another. I never looked back. When do you see yours, Bertyboy? Might be worth a call to the rheumatology nurse?

    Hi berty,
could you be coming down with a cold/flu? The banging head sounds more like it.
Take care, wrap up warm and keep taking the pills.

Hope it eases soon whatever it is.

    Hi May

It could well be because you worked so hard at physio a couple of days ago and it is not that long since your surgery. May be the weather too, if it is wet and damp where you live. I have had my not so good days after surgery too, especially with the knee ops. I do hope that you soon feel less achey and get back some energy. I hope you are not coming down with a cold or anything like that.

    Love

The happiest people don't have the best of everything. They just make the best of everything.

If you can lay down at night knowing in your heart that you made someone's day just a little bit better, you know you had a good day.

    Hi Berty,

i hope you will soon feel a lot better and it might be either you have over done things a bit or are coming down with something or maybe a bit of both? Really hope you will be a lot better tomorrow./ Love and hugs Cris xx

    Hi Berty,

it could be because you are using your body differently since the op. Immediately after an op the rest of the body has to work harder to compensate. Then as we start to feel better we find we can do more and the rest of the body isn't used to it. Your body position in space, your posture and your gait may all well be different and all your joints will take time to adjust.

I have had OA since mid twenties. It affects my hips and knees. I had a THR on the left aged 30 and now have a resurface-replacement on the right - done May 2010.
