    Hi All,
Thanks for your support.Lovely consultant!!! Daughter came with me.
He has given me a steroid injection in my hand as he could see what a mess this was, then took half an arm of blood.
He will contact me with the results. He said it is no good treating me for anything until we found out what the problem is.He did however give me a script for Protelos for the OP as I told him there was no way I was going to take that revolting AA.
He said the dexa scan did show my bones are what he would expect to see on an 80 year old. This freeked me but he also said we will sort it.
Now right hip/groin/foot aching so will have some lunch and take my coco's.
Hand will hurt again when the anesthetic wears off, just for a couple of days I gather.
All in all a good appointment and a person who listens which is really all I wanted.
Thanks again you lovely lot, your support has been the icing on the cake.
    THANK YOU.
    Love May

I'm so sorry I missed this, May, but I'm glad you're happy with the result.

They do sometimes get a bit carried away with the bloods, don't they? Mine has a tendency to go awol as soon as it sees a long line of syringes.

I hope the lunchtime cocos help and your hand is much improved once things have settled down.
