No answer to that, delboy. If I did have I'd have stopped Mr SW kicking me in bed years ago.
If at first you don't succeed, then skydiving definitely isn't for you.

ooh painful,
Are you jumping and limping round the room? my OH does when he gets it. I am sympathetic ,but it does make me smile to see the dance

Oh, my poor del, how very miserable. Perhaps an increase in your salt/potassium/magnesium levels might help matters. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Stand with foot on cold floor, however painful that may be - works every time.

the magnesium thing has worked for me. Was getting cramp every night for ages, docs put me on quinine but it's not the nicest thing to be on long term so now I just take a magnesium t tablet. Works great.
Hope you find something to stop it RkidMe-Tony

(lost my mum through DVT so was scared) had been there for a week, when we came home the next day i had biggggg pain in the same calf, even took a trip to the hospital and had scans to make sure it wasnt a DVT... cramps pretty evil...love and hugs0

Increasing your sodium intake can help too - do you use salt at all in your diet? If you already do then don't increase but if you don't it may be worth considering for a couple of days. DDHave you got the despatches? No, I always walk like this. Eddie Braben0

Ah pain!! Has it gone yet?!0

how's it been today? Before I started on the quinine and then the magnesium, without fail every morning, usually very early hours I would wake in agony with it.. It's horrid eh? What makes it worse is that you instantly fek the need to jump out of bed very quickly, something that really isn't a great idea for many of us on here but its like an automatic thing. So you end up hurting yourself too... Amount of times my knees have felt like they were gonna snap because I moved way too quickly...
Thankfully with the magnesium I've not had it for many many months. Remarkable really. Just the cheap supplement ones from test-co or moggisons etc.
Best of luck RkidMe-Tony
